Q. What inspired you to release this single, "T1 Faker"? Is there a special reason behind it? / 이번 싱글 ‘T1 Faker’를 발표하게 된 계기가 궁금합니다. 특별한 이유가 있나요?
A. This track was created to celebrate Faker’s fifth Worlds victory, and as a fan, I wanted to share in that joy. Watching the Worlds games, I was inspired by the energy and excitement of Faker’s plays, and I wanted to express that through music. Jazz, with its lively and free-spirited nature, felt like the perfect genre to capture the festive atmosphere of this victory. / 페이커 선수의 다섯 번째 월즈 우승을 함께 축하하고 싶은 마음으로 시작했어요. 월즈 경기를 보며 페이커 선수의 플레이에서 받은 에너지와 감동을 음악으로 표현하고 싶었죠. 그래서 재즈라는 자유롭고 신나는 장르로 우승의 축제 분위기를 담아내고자 했어요.
Q. Since it’s a celebratory piece, it seems like you paid special attention to the mood of the track. What did you focus on the most? / 축하의 의미로 만든 곡인 만큼 곡에서 느껴지는 분위기도 특별히 신경 쓰셨을 것 같은데요. 어떤 점에 중점을 두셨나요?
A. Absolutely. The core of this track is centered around "joy" and "celebration." I focused on creating an infectious groove with the piano, bass, and drums so that listeners can really feel the excitement. I also added elements of jazz improvisation to make it feel as though you’re right there in the moment, celebrating alongside everyone else. / 맞아요. 곡의 중심을 ‘기쁨’과 ‘축제’에 두었어요. 피아노, 베이스, 드럼이 함께 만드는 그루브를 통해 청중이 흥겹게 느낄 수 있도록 신경 썼구요. 재즈 특유의 즉흥적인 요소도 넣어, 듣는 분들이 마치 현장에서 함께 축하하는 기분을 느낄 수 있게 하는 것이 목표였어요.
